CZ Jan Šrámek je vizuální umělec, ilustrátor a pedagog. Absolovent Fakulty výtvarných umění VUT v Brně kde v současné době vede společně s Martinem Mazancem Ateliér video. Tvoří autorskou dvojici s umělkyní Veronikou Vlkovou. Autor ilustrací a spoluautor publikací Apolenka z modrotisku (2020), To je metro, čéče! (2019), Pražské vize (2017), Zvláštní okolnosti (2016), Pionýři a Roboti (2016), Letenský Glosář (2016), Postavit domy nestačí (2015), Ztracená Perspektiva (2013). Jeho práce byla prezentována v galeriích a na festivalech např. v Londýně, New Yorku, Amsterdamu, Soulu, Pekingu.
EN Jan Šrámek is a visual artist, illustrator, and pedagogue. He gradueated the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Technology in Brno where he currently runs an Atelier Video together with Martin Mazanec. In 2014, he participated in the implementation of the Czechoslovak pavilion at the architecture biennale in Venice. In 2017 and 2020, Šrámek won the Czech Grand Design award in the category Illustrator of the year. Illustration for the book That's metro, man! were selected for the prestigious exhibition as part of the International Children's Book Fair in Bologna 2020. He is an author duo with the artist Veronika Vlková and is the author of illustrations and co-author of publications Apolline’s Blue Workshop (2020), That's metro, man! (2019), Prague Visions (2017), Special circumstances (2016), Pioneers and Robots (2016), Glossary of Letná (2016), It's not enough to build houses (2015), Lost Perspective (2013). His work has been presented in galleries and festivals in, for instance, London, New York, Amsterdam, Seoul, and Beijing.
