About us

We are strengthening the good name of Czechia in the world

Czech Centres are an institute of public diplomacy established by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.

Their main mission is to support the good name of Czechia in the world and to strengthen cultural relations between countries. As a cultural institute, they are a member of the network of foreign European cultural institutes EUNIC. They present our country in a wide range of cultural and social areas: from art to creative industries to promoting the achievements of Czech science and innovation. They are dedicated to teaching Czech language abroad. Czech Centres also engage in international projects and serve as a platform for the development of international cultural dialogue.

Currently, there are a total of 26 branches abroad on 4 continents. In addition to Czech Centres abroad, we also manage the Czech Houses in Belgrade, Bratislava, and Jerusalem.
