It's the winter of 2021, I am starting my first semester at the academy but the world is experiencing the most severe pandemic times. Luckily all I need to work with this semester is material which is accessible to everyone and everywhere. The cattail plant. This project is very much reflecting probably the most crazy, chaotic times of our lives. Everyone was trying to cope with the reality in different ways. In my case it was just the cattail plant which helped me get through it safely. At that time I felt the need to run away from the insanity of reality and find a bit of peace, at least for a moment. And I found that in nature. The observatory works as a hypothetical observatory, primarily for the birds. I wanted to completely blend in with the surroundings. It is only needed to stay still and be mindful enough.

Det är vintern 2021, jag påbörjar mitt första semester vid akademin, men världen genomgår de mest svåra pandemitiderna. Jag behöver arbeta med material som är tillgängligt för alla och överallt, kaveldun. Det här projektet återspeglar verkligen de kanske mest galna och kaotiska tiderna i våra liv. Alla försökte hantera verkligheten på olika sätt. I mitt fall var det bara kaveldun som hjälpte mig att ta mig igenom det säkert.
